Registered: Jun 2014From Russian FederationFrom what I understand, GOG Galaxy only autoupdates *installed* games and allows for a manual download of the backup game installers upon request. But what if I keep the offline game installers (and goodies too) on an external drive plugged in most of the time to the computer with GOG Galaxy running and I want not only the installed games to be automatically updated, but the files on the external drive too? For example: - installed game is located in D:\Games\GOG\ and receives autoupdates. - offline backup files are stored in F:\Installers\Games\GOG\, but as of now I can only manually download every file and goody by clicking at them in GOG Galaxy and point at that location to save them. This is tedious and requires a lot of manual work. (Yes, I changed Settings → Downloads → Other downloads folder to F:\Installers\Games\GOG\ beforehand, but it doesn't work automatically, and also leaves a weird !Temp folder) I want GOG Galaxy to be to be able to automatically sync the offline game installers to the designated location for me. Is it possible?Post edited April 28, 2019 by nailinrailGamezRankerDisagreement Verboten! Sorry, data for given user is currently unavailable. Please, try again later. Hi guys. I tested GOG Galaxy 2.0 since the technical alpha. With each update, my experience with it got worse. Now it has reached the point that GOG Galaxy 2.0 is flat out unusable for me. And I fear for the worst when it will be released. When nowadays I do a fresh install of GOG Galaxy 2.0 after I made sure that there are no more files left from a previous install, it always - and I repeat: ALWAYS - crashes directly after I start it. It runs for a maximum of 30 seconds, than it crashes. I can't even send crash reports because as soon as I press "Send", the crash report window itself crashes. I can't get to settings, I can't do anything, Galaxy 2.0 just crashes. I fear for the worst when it will be released. If they disable the old GOG Galaxy aka 1.x and make GOG Galaxy 2.0 mandatory, as it is now, I will no longer be able to download my games. At least I don't know if there is another way of downloading all your stuff from GOGs servers without using the Galaxy client. If there is, please tell me. I don't know what to do because whatever I do, whatever I try, Galaxy 2.0 crashes everytime after max 30 seconds after I start it. 100% reproducable. I guess it has something to do with the sheer number of games I have on all my accounts but when I first start it, it only should import my GOG games. And I don't think my number of games on GOG is so high that it could create those problems.Post edited April 07, 2020 by AmanoTC
