Both Stations-waste of air time Both review same news - Eeek& both ONLY on rare occassions cover Carmel &Monterey Eeek,eek./Dan G is good. Other female reporters are pleasant. Both my Sis & I say>Erin is boring, needs a new bra w/up lift AND reports 1/3 news on Salinas yet can’t pronounce Spanish names & places after all these years!!! / Better if —one station KSBW, e.g. report on N. counties e.g. Holister, S. Benito., S.Cruz, Salinas & Salinas Valley; & other Station can cover Pacific Grove,Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey,Carmel Valley, Chular & So. Hwy1, also Moss Landing, Marina,& Seaside BUT probably not fun because less crime. “Weather Reporters” are good especially the black gentleman reporting on weather (regret to say - I can’t recall his name, sorry.) That’s all for now - just off the top of my head. All these points have been discussed in our homes for years. Also, will never forget the 49ers won a season and were given their celebration parade -

Paz Padilla has wanted to help people since she wanted her parents and their passion for helping others. When she came from Mexico as a youngster her family struggled. So as an adult, she felt committed to giving back and helping others in need."It's always been my passion. It's always been something that identifies me,” Padilla said. She's worked for a Catholic Charities' immigration and citizenship program for twenty years and is currently working for a community action board as the impact and program director. Her passion to help others inspires others on her staff."Currently, my services is leading our staff, right now in helping our homeless. I'm helping those individuals who need rent assistance, in assisting and creating programs that drive that service to help people get out of poverty,” Padilla said. Her passion to help others inspires others on her staff."I really look up to her. I want to be like Padilla in this community. The way she goes about everything. She lights up a room when she speaks. I can't say enough positive things about her,” said Elyssa Sanchez with the Community Action Board. This isn't the first time that the spotlight has shined on Padilla. She's been recognized by the city of Watsonville and many more organizations but her satisfaction comes from helping others. "I grew up wanting to make people happy, that's what I do, a service; I help somebody and it's that smile or it's that thank you, right. Or just making sure that that person is feeling secure that they're going to be able to move forward,” Padilla said.KSBW is honoring the people and organizations that strengthen our Central Coast communities. We seek out those working to make our community a better place for everyone and companies or organizations that strive to make the Central Coast a more inclusive place.
