Live 7 Demo runs ok but i think Live 8 will need more Power or not?ThanksI ran beta Live-8 on a 1.5GHz Mac Mini with 1GB of RAM and OS X 10.4.11. It was as problem-free as the Hindenburg and I had 6-crash reports in one hour. The poor wee Mini's fan was wheezing asthmatically and we could all toast chestnuts on the computer's enclosure. It has to be remembered that this was beta software and the bugs may yet be ironed out, but as things stand, our Ableton Overlords may have to up the minimum requirements for computers running their new software. It sounds good though... christian_kaiser Posts: 3 Joined: Mon Feb 16, 2009 2:28 pm Post by christian_kaiser » Tue Feb 17, 2009 9:18 am thanks at first i hope they publish the requirements quickly, i think the Ableton Team must have a target of what computer they will make it run without problems Coupe70 Posts: 1100 Joined: Fri Jul 23, 2004 7:25 am Location: Mainz / Germany Contact: Post by Coupe70 » Tue Feb 17, 2009 9:26 am i don't know, but i think somewhere i read Live 8 itselfwould be the same on CPUComments

Well that makes it pointless for those who want Live7 features but don't want all the extra crap. An LE version which was like Live5 with updated changes to engine and warping features would be nice. Instead of a light version which is just an upsell pathway to instruments no one really needs.Limiting the number of effects etc is a stupid path. Instead limit the use of extended features and make it a true "light" not... "heavy with limits".-Ben MrYellow Posts: 1887 Joined: Mon Dec 15, 2003 7:10 am Contact: Post by MrYellow » Mon Apr 14, 2008 2:27 am Sales lost through allowing marketing department to choose LE version structure/features: 1.-Ben gjm Posts: 3679 Joined: Mon Nov 19, 2007 8:53 am Post by gjm » Mon Apr 14, 2008 3:28 am MrYellow wrote:however I would like the time-signatures
