Last update: Fri Aug 04 2023 00:00:00 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) Topics: Deploy CREATED FOR: Intermediate Admin Adobe Sign Individual (also known as Adobe Sign Pro) will be deprovisioned from all Acrobat DC entitlements included in ETLA (Enterprise Term License Agreement) offers only beginning August 2020 and will continue through November 20, 2020. Adobe Sign Individual does not provide enterprise-grade functionality and should be replaced with Adobe Sign Enterprise for enterprise customers. This includes Acrobat DC licensed as a stand-alone app and Acrobat DC licensed as part of Creative Cloud for enterprise – All Apps. Access to Adobe Sign Individual is available in Acrobat via the Adobe Sign tool or the Fill & Sign tool (Request signatures). If you have not updated Acrobat DC to the latest version, the tool may be labelled “Send for Signature”. Why are we deprovisioning this? In October 2018, we released an all-new Acrobat DC. This latest release includes new tools and functionality to better work with PDFs across mobile devices, the web and desktop, plus all-new collaboration tools. As an Acrobat DC subscriber, you should already have these great features available. Another major update we released was to our electronic signature solution Adobe Sign. Prior to the October 2018 release, Acrobat DC users have been able to send documents out for e-signature using tools in Acrobat labelled “Fill & Sign” (or “Adobe Sign” or “Send for Signature”) which were provisioned with Adobe Sign Individual entitlement. While having this option has provided a great way to capture e-signatures, we are deprovisioning Adobe Sign Individual because it does not provide the Enterprise grade functionality that is available through Adobe Sign Enterprise, such as: Ability to centrally manage users who have permission to send agreements or sign Allowing admins to manage agreements that are sent and used across the organization Providing granular controls to manage electronic signatures across the organization In addition, Adobe Sign Enterprise offers more functionality compared to what was available in the Adobe Sign Individual entitlement, including, but not limited to: Administration Single Sign on Account Delegation Integrations Prebuilt Enterprise Integrations with Dropbox, Salesforce, Workday, etc. Adobe Sign is the preferred e-signature solution across the Microsoft enterprise portfolio, including Office 365, SharePoint, Dynamics, Teams, and Flow Customization and Optimization Enhanced e-signature authentication, Advanced ID-based signer identity verification, workflow designer, advanced language support, etc. Adobe Sign is the industry-leading globally recognized solution for capturing legally

By way of the Adobe e-signature framework. Not all e-signatures are equal. From a simple e-signature to a certified cloud signature, Acrobat Sign gives you the choice of e-signature and the level of identification needed to confirm signer identity — before your document or electronic form is signed. Simply put, Acrobat Sign is the most flexible solution to help you comply confidently with legal requirements and legal frameworks for e-signatures around the world. Full of features built for legal workflows. With Acrobat Sign features, you can include a reason for signing, request consent to conduct business electronically and provide an option for signers to sign by hand. View all Acrobat Sign capabilities that make it easy to send, sign, track and manage e-signature processes — anywhere, any time — directly from a browser or phone. Demonstrate proof of signing. Depending on the type of e-signature used, the Acrobat Sign audit trail and signature panel can help to prove that a specific signer authorised their signature on a document. And if you use a highly secure, regulated digital signature, it will also be bound cryptographically to the document and can be validated for up to 10 years. When completed, copies of signed documents are sent automatically to all parties and certified by Adobe with a tamper-evident seal.

What is Adobe Sign? Adobe Sign is a cloud-based service that lets an individual or organization send, secure, track and manage e-signature processes. The service is meant to replace physical paper and ink signatures with a fully automated, electronic alternative. Adobe Sign is an evolution of the previously known EchoSign platform. Features of Adobe Sign include the following: the ability to create workflows that require multiple signatures; the option to choose between various electronic and digital signature types; the ability to generate branded documents; and APIs to integrate with external apps and platforms, such as Microsoft Office, DropBox, Google Drive, SharePoint and Salesforce. How Adobe Sign works With Adobe Sign, e-signatures can be returned from customers or other users in a few steps. When a document is ready to be signed, the creator specifies which fields need a response, enters the signer's email address and hits send. The forms will then appear in the signer's inbox with a unique, secure browser link. The signer does not need to download any apps or register for an account; they can just sign the document directly from the link. After the signature is received, the creator will get a notification that it's ready. Adobe Sign will also send expiration alerts and signature reminders if the signer does not respond. When the document is complete, it is automatically archived, and a final copy is sent to both parties. Benefits of Adobe Sign Most physical signature workflows are slow, wasteful and prone to mistakes. Adobe
