This exchange, but this one makes the cut. It is not only an awesome way to threaten somebody, it is also hilarious. And to Samuel L. Jackson’s credit, it doesn’t seem right when anyone else says it.10. “60% Of The Time, It Works Everytime” – Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy (2004)Some lines become memorable because of how funny they are or how cool they sound. But sometimes the sheer absurdity of a piece of dialogue propels it to fame. ‘Anchorman’ is filled with many such lines. And this one said by Paul Rudd’s character perfectly captures the spirit of the film. It doesn’t sound funny when you listen to it the first time but it’ll surely grow on you.9. “If You’re Good At Something, Never Do It For Free” – The Dark Knight (2008)The demise of the great Heath Ledger robbed us of an incredible actor who left us with a few iconic roles. Chief among them being The Joker. While almost everything he says is quotable, this is an awesome and important line in the film. It shows us that not only is this guy crazy, he is actually sensible and calculating. A bonus is that we can use this in our lives as well.8. “Yippee-ki-yay, Motherfucker” – Die Hard (1988)When it comes to action films and action heroes, there are few who are more iconic than ‘Die Hard’ and John McClane. The line is used as a way of showing McClane’s confidence. But what is also does is to boost the confidence of the audience as well. It gives them something to cheer for and more than anything else: what a way to reply to someone when they think they’ve cornered you.7. “I Love The Smell Of Napalm In The Morning” – Apocalypse Now (1979)As a filmAnchorman: The Game – Improper Teleprompter - Board Game
2006 4,970 2 22,810 #6 I'd like people's opinion on a system that I'm building, and various sound card options I have at my disposal. I'm building a system with an EVGA nForce 680i MB, which has on-board sound via a 7.1 Channel, Azalia chip. I plan on using a decent set of Altec Lansing 2.1 speakers which I already own.I have the following options:1) Buy a Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum @ ~$1502) Install an existing Sound Blaster Audigy SE that I own (free)3) Use the on-board sound that comes with the EVGA MB (free w/ MB)I'll spend the ~$150 for the X-Fi, if it's worth it -- but I'm not sure it is. Should I buy the X-Fi, install the Audigy I have, or just go with on-board sound? Thoughts?-- DJBarty I'll try answering this as a person who went from on-board sound to an Audigy to a X-FI Platinum. Going from on-board sound to the Audigy gave me both an increase in general computer performance. Not just in game play, but when listening to music CD's while doing office work. I think this was a very good investment, considering its cost.I bought a set of 5.1 speakers and the Audigy didn't seem to do them justice, so I bought a X-FI Platinum to go with the speakers. I think it was a good buy, but I have both the speakers and the desire for excellent sound to justify the purchase. In your case, having only a 2.1 speaker setup, I think using the Audigy that you already own is a good idea. It would unload the cpu while giving good sound for the speakers that you have. Unless you buy a good set of 5.1 or 7.1 speakers, in my opinion, I don't think there is good reason to invest in a X-Fi card. #7 My search on newegg didn't reveal any onboard memory, so I wasn't sure about the audigy. Now that I know, I agree completely with what Sailer said above. #8 all im goin say is dont use onboard sound if u can at all help it,. Chroma Keying BasicsChroma Keying (aka Green Screening or Blue Screening) is a technique to replace a certain color in an image with another content. The most popular example is the anchorman in front of a weather map: In the studio, there is a big green backdrop and in front of it the anchorman pointing to imaginary objects. The computer is able to detect the background by its color and replace it with any other video content. The audience will see the anchorman in front of an animated weather map.Backdrop / BackgroundThe first thing to consider for your greenscreen setup is the backdrop, which could be anything from a wall painted green, an old green blanket, or a professional greenscreen fabric. These higher-priced backdrops are usually quite big, very durable, and made out of 100% cotton, which makes them less reflective. If you are looking for a professional set up with the best results possible, such a fabric is very important, but for fun or a budget production, anything green can be used as a greenscreen.Just make sure there are no creases or folds, they’ll cast shadows on your fabric and create darker spots that are hard to key out later on.LightingA good lighting setup is key to get a high-quality chroma key. There are some aspects to check:The backdrop needs to be lit as even as possible. This will help the Chroma Key Filter to figure out what is a green background and needs to be cut out (keyed) andAnchorman' Soundboard - Instant Sound Buttons

Bottom entry connector to the board along with four different colored LEDs. The blue LED burns brighter with the same current limiting resistor as the other LEDs. I toned it down with a 4.7K ohm resistor.Alkaline corroded System 11 Fire! MPUI shouldn’t have taken this one on…Alkaline corroded boards take so much effort to repair properly, I really shouldn’t be taking these on. But, sometimes I just can’t say no. The picture shows the board mid repair. Once the parts were removed, a vinegar/water rinsing, a little more cleanup, and then sealing with an encapsulant, it was time to repopulate the board. Quite a few traces had to be rebuilt. Good news…everything works perfectly now. Here’s a YouTube video of the board being tested.Yet another WPC Power/Driver BoardLow Coil PowerThis board was sent to me because the GI circuits were quite crispy. After correcting the GI issues and rehabbing the 5VDC power path, I tested the board and found that the nominal 75VDC was only at about 42VDC. Replacement of the pictured filter cap returned the board to factory spec.System 80B Monte Carlo Sound BoardNo Sound At AllThis sound board showed no signs of life at all. Normal boot operation is for the board to make a single “squeak” and then the LED will begin to blink. The root cause on this one was fairly straightforward to find. The 74LS374 I/O buffer IC had failed shorted.Data East 520-5002-01 Sound Board for Laser WarVoice Callouts corruptedThis board presented with the voice call outs making only a “ticking” sound. Sounds were fine but no joy with the voices. A failed LS157 was most of the issue, but an intermittent RAM would then cause the board to fail to boot about 1 time out of 6. The RAM tested good on my RAM tester but was flakey in the board. Replaced the RAM….good to go.Anchorman - Instant Sound Effect Button

MSI is releasing a board with X-Fi on it, though I don't know how that would compare with a stand alone card.MSI Diamond #3 I don't own the board yet. But the MSI w/ X-Fi on-board certainly makes sense. Good call.I can't find this board for sale anywhere though. Sh1tty.Thx. #4 Remember that on-board sound uses some cpu power (~5%) to run! Its always better in my opinion to use a separate sound card. #5 I'm not expert, really, but I'd think it depends on two factors:a) Is your PC fast enough for you not to be bothered that you are loosing a few frames on the lesser variants of sound cards. And since you are considering spending $150 on a sound card (which a lot of people with fairly decent gaming computers don't) I take it, your rig is good enough not to care.b) Are you an audiophile. If you can actually tell the difference and relish in pleasing your ears, it might be worth it.Me, personally, if I had a 2.1 system, I wouldn't bother. You can't miss what you never had in the first place. Apr 9,. Anchorman. Category: Comedians Tracks: : 143 Tags: anchorman. by finley penn - 0 Sell Your Sounds Board Share TM Recording App Anchorman. It’s hard to believe that it’s been one whole year since we lost our beloved Rush Limbaugh on February 17, 2021. So much has happened since then. So many things have been left unsaid and un-ranted about by our great Rush, Maha Rushie, El Rushbo, The Mayor of Realville…America’s Anchorman. It’s been 365 days since Rush’s wife, Kathryn Limbaugh, came on his show to let us know that Rush had passed away at the age of 70 because of complications of lung cancer. Since then, a plethora of conservative talk show hosts, writers and other patriotic Americans have picked up the torch of freedom that Rush passed along to all of us and James Golden (AKA Bo Snerdley), as expected, is running with that torch, full steam ahead. More from Steve Gruber Snerdley, Rush’s close friend and call screener on the Rush Limbaugh Show, the man behind the man behind the golden microphone, has certainly not been letting any moss grow on him in the past year. I can still remember the first time I heard the voice of Bo Snerdley on the Rush Limbaugh Show. It was as the Official Obama Criticizer (he was also the official show observer). He called himself an “African-American-in-good-standing-and-certified-black-enough-to-criticize-Obama-guy.” Back in those days of fervent Obama worship, if you said anything against the great Obama, you were called a racist. The Official Obama Criticizer was Limbaugh’s answer to that, in the usual comedic way that he liked to do. Comedy was definitely one of his greatest gifts, something many people missed out on when they scoffed at him for saying he had talent “on loan from God” or when he said that he had “half my brain tied behind my back just to make it fair.” When Snerdley said that he was speaking “on behalf of our E.I.B. brothers and sisters in the hood” I just about fell off my chair laughing. Snerdley’s voice is a deep and booming one, a voice that I consider to be a cross between James Earl Jones and the Arby’s commercial announcer, Ving Rhames, the guy who says, “We Have the Meats!” Snerdley worked in the control booth on Rush’s show for 30 years as the call screener and has often been described as having his own show within the show, bantering (and arguing) with callers while he defended conservatism and his boss, letting a few luckyDrunk Anchorman - Anchorman - Soundboard.com
Why do people do this and what purpose does it have?Sword blocking slows down your movement speed through the water, which in turn reduces the sound of the splash effect when you grab onto a ladder. The purpose here is to board more silently than one would moving at full speed. You can do the block jump as soon as you get to the top of the ladder and maybe evade an attack from a possible ladder guarder. Some people use it to make less noise when boarding but this isn’t too effective against a good crew.It was used to allow people to silent board. That has been patched out now. But people still try it hoping it helps. Also yes, it allows you to block immediately as you come up the ladder if your sword is already out.@evillildudeOthers have got the answer, I just want to add that any low movement speed in the water reduced the boarding sound. Personally, I always just stayed still in the water.Having your weapon of choice already equipped as you board is good, either you can instantly aim your gun or instantly block.Since the boarding sound difference is gone, the reason people still do it is partially habit, partially that they want their sword out as they board, and partially because slower movement in the water makes less sound in the water even though the boarding sound is always the same..
