Cricut cutting service? : r/cricut - Reddit

Was a sorry and £10 voucher and even the £10 voucher was offered when I said how disgusting it is that other than sorry they won't offer anything at all. Company detailsInformation provided by various external sourcesCricut is the brand-name of a product range of home die-cutting machines used for scrapbooking and various projects, made by Provo Craft & Novelty, Inc.Contact infocricut.comIf I could’ve put -10 for rating I…If I could’ve put -10 for rating I would’ve !! I had repeated emails from Cricut encouraging me to take up the offer of receiving a Cricut hat press if my purchase was over £75. I ordered Cricut mugs which came to £77 and whilst the mugs and the hat press were showing in my basket when I paid for it they gave me a discount of £7 due to me paying monthly for Cricut access. I did not ask for the discount it was automatic! I had an email from DHL saying my order had been dispatched but it only showed the mugs. I called Cricut Custoner service to check this and was told that my order was under £75 because of the discount and I didn’t qualify for the Hat press. The advice I was given was to reorder the mugs at £77 and another item to cancel out the discount. Then I was to contact customer service again they would then issue me with a label to return the box of mugs I would then get my refund in 5-10 days. Thankfully I didn’t reorder and pay any more money as the offer ended the very next day!! I think the level of customer service was very poor and had all the flavourings of being a scam! This was the first time I ordered from Cricut and due to this I will NEVER order from them again!!Date of experience: July 26, 2024This company is an absolute jokeThis company is an absolute joke. I was then told they could issue an RMA and I had to return the items I did receive at my own cost. Ridiculous you have to Pay for their mistakes. Then they only provided a partial refund. I have contacted customer service about the refund issue and it is absolutely pointless trying to resolve issues with them. Then they want to say they will do anything to provide excellent service. (which is extremely quiet given its much smaller mechanism), I noticed the Explore 3 was a little noisier and also made beeping noises when the tool holders go up and down. I was assured by a Cricut care member that this is normal, and it’s honestly more of an observation than a con.Is the Cricut Explore 3 a good investment? If you are serious about and love crafting, I will always say a Cricut machine is a good investment. You may not think you need one (I get it, I used to say that too), but once you have one, you will see just how useful they are and how you could never go back to not having one!As far as the Cricut Explore 3 machine goes, I think it’s the perfect all-around Cricut machine. It can cut and do so many things and will fit most crafters’ needs. And if you were debating between the Explore 3 and the Cricut Explore Air 2 (the older model), you can be confident in the Explore 3 knowing you’re getting the newer design with improved performance and speed, as well as being able to cut Smart materials without a mat (if you ever want to create large/long designs like wall murals, this feature is so handy!).I love that Cricut is always updating their software, adding new features and tons of images to Design Space (especially if you have a Cricut Access subscription), so I never run out of new projects I want to make. Cricut makes it easy to use their products by providing tons of resources and help articles. And their customer service is the best if you ever have questions. So, yes, investing in a Cricut machine is definitely worth it and I think the Explore 3 is a solid choice for most people! One! In other words fix it yourself or throw it away… next defect. My cousin bought me a cricut mug press for my birthday off Amazon. I switch it on and activate it and there after IT DID NOT WORK! It had a red light with beeping noises! And the customer agent says “I’m sorry but it’s defective and we did all the troubleshooting but it needs to be replaced as it’s still under warranty…” couple of days later and speaking with multiple agents over the days! “Unfortunately your warranty is voided because you live outside of America and you should contact Amazon there is nothing we can do!” Amazon says “you need to speak directly to the manufacturer Cricut!” THE MACHINE WAS NOT EVEN USED it just cannot be that if your machine is defective from the start that it simply needs to be thrown away! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! VERY WASTEFUL CRICUT! Do better! Over priced for the quality of the products you sell! Date of experience: March 16, 2024The company will not stand behind their defectsMy Cricut Maker I have had for a little less than 4 years started to malfunction. (The rubber rollers moved out of their designed location so that the bar does not roll. As a result, I can not load the material & mat.) When talking to customer service, they confirmed it is a defect and advised me to go buy a new machine. So pretty much instead of offering to fix, replace or discount a replacement machine, they gave me the only option that’s a win for them and a lose for me. I asked to talk to someone higher up and they told me I would get a call. 6 days later and still waiting for that call. As of now, I will not give this company my business. It’s a loss for them as I buy a ton of their materials for my company at the nearby Hobby Lobby which when you look at the profit margins, the materials after the machine is purchased is really where all the profits are made. I am now looking into what other options are out there for machines and going with other brands for materials from this point forward.Customer experience is so important these days when we are given so many choices. For example, I own a Breville coffee maker that had a
