2025-04-08Decoder for this that might have saved you some trouble. The preview even converts DC spherical normal maps to cartesian normals. It doesn't currently have support for directly converting .PVR to PNG or anything, but it was on the todo list. The converter is mainly intended to output it's own format, which has more features than .PVR, but it does have some support for generating .PVR files (including small VQ textures), since I used PVR Viewer to help test the output before I had the decoder working and tested. (I found out PVR Viewer's handling of VQ YUV is bugged...) There might be some bugs in the generated .PVR header, though, since I've only tested the resulting files in PVR Viewer. --> Top 1 Replies 850 Views Last post by OatBob Wed Jan 01, 2025 9:01 am 3 Replies 6370 Views Last post by pmp174 Wed Jan 01, 2025 8:09 pm 3 Replies 5275 Views Last post by MoeFoh Sun Feb 20, 2022 2:52 am 14 Replies 15721 Views Last post by MoeFoh Sun Feb 26, 2023 8:10 am 0 Replies 1899 Views Last post by Al_Balog90 Mon Mar 11, 2024 3:09 pm

I have to because my ASUS G-Sync monitor isn't properly supported in conjunction with my EVGA 980 SC SLIs at BIOS, which causes the monitor to flicker and then cut out while modifying my BIOS... very annoying. This fix was the result of several months of research and diagnostics with EVGA support so I won't be enabling CSM again. The MBR ship has sailed for this system. All has been great until I tried to boot from a USB CD drive and it wouldn't take. Then I tried to boot from a CD attached to SATA (internal) without success. Then I tried a thumb drive with the same image on it... without success. I used the same CD drive and CD on my other system and it worked perfectly, however that system is BIOS/MBR... I have tried every toggle I could find to force the system to boot to the CD but nothing worked. Am I missing something here or is this simply the result of not having CSM enabled (i.e. can't boot from a non-uEFI disc)? Thanks for taking the time to read through this,Ti _JoseR SSC Member Total Posts : 826 Reward points : 0 Joined: 2014/04/11 09:39:05 Status: offline Ribbons : 1 Re: System refuses to boot from a USB device 2016/04/03 01:56:59 (permalink) I recently installed Windows 10 Pro 64-bit on my Z97 Classified from a bootable USB with CSM turned off and in full UEFI mode on a pair of Samsung 850 Evos in RAID 0. Are you sure you are setting your boot priorities correctly beneath the boot tab? What exactly happens when you attempt to boot from the CD or USB and did you try the boot override? tiberiusisgame New Member Total Posts : 34 Reward points : 0 Joined: 2015/01/22 06:41:42Location: DC Status: offline Ribbons : 0 Re: System refuses to boot from a USB device 2016/04/03 06:26:08 (permalink) Good morning Jose and thank you for the very quick reply! I installed Windows 10 exactly the same way. That's actually the only way to install Windows in uEFI is with CSM disabled. I have configured the boot priorities in every possible combination, especially including USB CD/DVD and CD/DVD at the top. I even removed hard drive boot from the boot priority list but it still booted into Windows. I really do mean every possible combination, even USB Floppy. I also created a bootable flash drive version of this iso (redo-backup) which was not recognized, no matter which USB port I tried. I wasn't able to select boot override because no other disks appear in that list and the reason for this might be related to secure boot, which I would have to disable in order to boot from a non-uEFI flash drive. But I don't believe firmware
