In order to continue our commitment to future-proofing Wowza software, so your video streaming thrives in any environment, we have enhanced the Dynamic Load Balancing AddOn to support more protocols to your edge servers and geographic load balancing.The Dynamic Load Balancing AddOn provides a method for distributing connection loads between multiple Wowza Streaming Engine™ edge servers.By supporting more protocols to your edge servers, the AddOn now provides greater flexibility and the ability to test and balance your servers to deliver the highest quality streaming experience that your viewers have come to expect.It’s imperative to use the Dynamic Load Balancing AddOn for efficient distribution of connection requests to the least bogged down servers when deploying multiple edge servers.There are now two versions of the Dynamic Load Balancing AddOn available — one for Wowza Streaming Engine version 4.0 and later, and another for Wowza Media Server® versions 2.x and 3.x.For Wowza Streaming Engine (version 4.0 and greater), the Dynamic Load Balancing AddOn supports redirection over HTTP, RTMP, and RTSP protocols to edge servers. Geographic load balancing is also available.For Wowza Media Server (version 2.x and 3.x) the Dynamic Load Balancing AddOn supports redirection over RTMP to edge servers (geographic load balancing isn’t natively supported).In order for your Wowza software to work properly the load-balancing system must run the same software version as either your Wowza Streaming Engine or Wowza Media Server. For example, if you are running Wowza Streaming Engine 4 your must run this same version on all your media servers in the system. Once you complete these steps, you can apply extra configurations or perform troubleshooting.Configuration optionsEnable and disable auto-rotationOnce you enable auto-rotation for Azure Key Vault Secrets Provider, it updates the pod mount and the Kubernetes secret defined in the secretObjects field of SecretProviderClass. It does so by polling for changes periodically, based on the rotation poll interval you defined. The default rotation poll interval is two minutes.When a secret updates in an external secrets store after initial pod deployment, the Kubernetes Secret and the pod mount periodically update depending on how the application consumes the secret data.Mount the Kubernetes Secret as a volume: Use the auto-rotation and sync K8s secrets features of Secrets Store CSI Driver. The application needs to watch for changes from the mounted Kubernetes Secret volume. When the CSI Driver updates the Kubernetes Secret, the corresponding volume contents automatically update as well.Application reads the data from the container filesystem: Use the rotation feature of Secrets Store CSI Driver.
