Here's where to go to drift into the expansion. | Published: Mar 29, 2023 04:34 pm The Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure DLC expansion lets you take the race off-road into the badlands of Sierra Nueva. If it’s your first time delving into the newest add-on content, it’s not entirely obvious how to start the DLC expansion. Here’s what you need to know. Where to Start Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure Explained Screenshot by GameSkinny Rally Adventure is part of the Premium Edition and Premium Add-ons Bundle for Forza Horizon 5, but if you haven’t purchased either of those versions, you can get the expansion on its own for $19.99. Once you’ve purchased the Rally Adventure DLC, check to make sure the base game is updated to the latest version. In-game, you’ll need to have progressed further until you reach the main Horizon Festival site to acquire your first car. Then, you should see the Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure icon in the northwest portion of the Mexico map. Head to that location to start the Horizon Badlands Expedition. From there, you’ll drive a couple of new vehicles, including the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum and the 2001 Ford #4 Ford Focus RS. This is also where you’ll learn of a new feature where your co-driver will note any turns, jumps, or track changes as you advance further. Screenshot by GameSkinny When that’s done, you’ll be able to start the Rally Adventure DLC expansion in earnest. You can explore Sierra Nueva at your leisure, but it’s probably best to get a few activities done so you can choose a team. This will unlock additional sets of challenges for you to complete. And that’s how to start the Rally Adventure DLC in Forza Horizon 5. If you wish to return to Mexico, you can open the Campaign menu and click on the Travel to Mexico option to head back, or just fast travel by highlighting a road on the main world map. Conversely, if you want to return to Sierra Nueva, check the Rally Adventure tab and select the Horizon Outpost option. It’s really that easy to bounce between the base game content and the expansion. Look for more Forza Horizon 5 guides here on GameSkinny. Featured screenshot by GameSkinny. Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure

The next big update for Forza Horizon 5 will arrive today, March 28, on Xbox and PC. Among the many new additions in the free update is new body kits. The new update adds 1 new body kit licensed from the famed Liberty Walk brand, 3 from StreetFighter LA and 25 Forza-branded (in-house made by developers Playground Games) rally body kits. The one new Liberty Walk kit is for an upcoming car, the Lexus LC 500, which will be earnable through the next Festival Playlist Series: Midnights (Series 19). The emphasis on rally body kits is to coincide with the Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure expansion dropping later this week. Don’t expect much though, it’s just a few more generic parts rather than full body kits. Here’s the full list of cars with new body kits added from the Forza Horizon 5 March 2023 update: 2021 Lexus LC 500 (reward car unlocked from Midnights Festival Playlist) StreetFighter LA Body Kit 1997 BMW M3 2008 BMW M3 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE Forza Rally “Body Kit” (New Parts) (bold indicates car from Car Pass- additional purchase necessary) 2017 Alpine A1101985 Ford RS200 Evolution1970 Ford GT702017 Ford M-Sport Fiesta RS2017 Ford Focus RS2016 Honda Civic Coupe1978 Hoonigan Ford Escort RS18001986 Hoonigan Ford RS200 Evolution1991 Hoonigan Gymkhana 10 Ford Escort Cosworth Group A1994 Hoonigan Ford Escort RS Cosworth ‘Cossie V2’2016 Hoonigan Gymkhana 10 Ford Focus RS RX1992 Mazda 323 GT-R1986 MG Metro 6R42008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR The Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure map gives us Sierra Nueva to explore along with its six regions. From breakable palm forests to deformable desert sands, this new expansion gives us a fresh new environment to burn out our mileage, which includes several new activities. Here’s a guide that will show you the new biomes in Forza Horizon 5 and the latest new activities to take part in.Here are the six new regions and biomes that you can explore in the Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure map:Abandoned QuarryDesert GorgeGreen HillsPalm ForestPueblo ArtzaRugged DunesAbandoned QuarryAbandoned Quarry is the best biome in the Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure map, as you get to really see just how far your best stunt vehicle can take you. Full of ramps, sloping terrain, and abandoned machinery, the abandoned quarry is just a playground for you and your friends to have fun in. Just be careful not to hit anything, as this biome is full of obstacles left behind by the quarry.Desert GorgeDesert Gorge has one of the most technical roads and can be intimidating to tackle, but it’s the perfect place to get used to your new anti-lag turbocharger. There are a lot of sharp turns where you can admire the spectacular rock formations, if you don’t wind up crashing, that is. There’s a lot of personality in this region thanks to its Horizon-inspired murals, where you may get tempted to use Photo Mode to admire it all in its glory.Green HillsGreen Hills will be full of untamed lush that can be viewed for miles, where your off-road vehicle will really be tested. It’s proof that plant life can survive even under the heat, but they won’t be in the way for long once you drive over them. There’s a massive dam and a reservoir to find in this region, as well as an asphalt drag strip that is just perfect for trying out the new Launch Control.Palm ForestA Palm Forest where every palm tree can be smashed by your car. There’s a beautiful waterfall that gives life to the forest in this area where the nearby dirt trails can really test your off road vehicle. This beautiful biome is definitely hiding a few secrets to be discovered while roaming around.Pueblo ArtzaPueblo Artza is your first stop on the map and the heart of Sierra Nueva.
