LABYRINTH: Derelict Abyss is a surreal and stylish exploration game where you search for living relics in a strange labyrinthine maze.Created by June Flower (creator of the excellent Remnants), in LABYRINTH: Derelict Abyss you find yourself in a museum-like building, filled with strange installations, hidden passages and mysterious artefacts. Your aim is to collect 12 living artefacts that are scattered around the labyrinth and as you do, you learn a little more about the place and its mysterious past. A lot of the artefacts are easy enough to find, but it’s a big place that can be easy to get lost in and there are lots of hidden passageways to discover too.It’s a fascinating experience exploring the beautiful pixel art labyrinth of LABYRINTH: Derelict Abyss. Each new room holds a new marvel to behold and the way it’s structured feels very organic, as if it’s a place that’s grown around the artefacts, rather than them being put on display there. Trama con le proprie forze. Raccogliendo reliquie, si ottengono brevi frammenti di storia, con frequenti riferimenti a un passato misterioso e condannato. Ogni reliquia ha una propria personalità, con alcuni riferimenti a concetti come la ruota buddista del Dharma o alla semplice allegria infantile. Sistema di suggerimenti Come in altri giochi di esplorazione, come Wayward o Remnants, ci si deve aspettare di rimanere bloccati nel contorto labirinto di LABYRINTH - Derelict Abyss a un certo punto. Quando ciò inevitabilmente accade, è possibile utilizzare il sistema di suggerimenti integrato per orientarsi. Tuttavia, i suggerimenti possono essere un po' criptici o difficili da seguire. Finale senza cerimonie Una delle maggiori lamentele di questo gioco indie è il suo finale piuttosto brusco e senza cerimonie. Just a few hours ago developer June Flower released a new title called LABYRINTH – Derelict Abyss. With an incredible art style and top-notch music, I felt a lot of similarities to abstract horror games like Tamashii in this one. But LABYRINTH is certainly in a unique league of its own.To attempt to describe the plot of LABYRINTH – Derelict Abyss would be impossible. You play as what appears to be a mask (one with no head beneath) atop some kind of green robes or grass skirt. The gameplay is just exploring this obviously labyrinthine area, with each tile square full of a new and unusual vignette.LABYRINTH – Derelict Abyss is a game without combat, but it’s certainly a powerful experience. The rooms I found, at least 20+, were unique both in content and emotion. Some were deeply unsettling, hosting a face with what appeared to be writhing grubs within the eyes. But some were incredibly peaceful, full of interesting plants or alchemical stations. There was even one section where you turn into a cute mouse-like creature and crawl around for a bit, which was a nice change of pace. It’s not your average Daily Dose, but absolutely one worth trying.LABYRINTH – Derelict Abyss is pay-what-you-like on itch.io, though for the love and care put into this game, you should definitely give June a few bucks for their work. Who turns out the Fire Spirit King entrusts Lucio Laciel's armor with the power of darkness and the group is granted a barrier to defect damage from her. After her defeat, Ceres flees and Lucio goes berserk from the armor he was entrusted. The dwarf mayor told his men to remove the armor and he was taken to rest. After waking up, he saw Ameli who came to see him and Ada leaves to search for Cardis. Lucio takes Lydia from Colon's house and heads to Redwood forest. He meets an old man to help him by taking him the Cave of Trials. The old man turns out to be a child in disguised to meet travelers who need help in Redforest. The kid named Wolf was called a slacker by a girl named Faye who help Lucio and Ameli through the deadly poisonous spider forest to meet the Sage. Once they managed to meet the Sage, the Sage tells them to go the dark elves realm and meet Judeka who would help them find them the Rune of Abyss. Lucio and Ameli teleports to the Derelict land and meets Judeka. Judeka fights with Lucio and Ameli believe they were there to attack the dark elves. After the fight, Judeka agrees to join them and find the Rune of Abyss. Judeka tells him that the Rune of Abyss is held by the dragon named Eineherjar. The group heads to the Dragon's Den and helped the goblins with errands by cleaning
