Tested connection on multiple devices(phone, tablets, laptops) and they all have internet connection connected through wifi. It's not a major issue in my eyes, as I know I can just manually update the firmware when I want. I was just worried because when I first purchases the router, I never encountered this error. By ethernet portPlug the MacBookPro into another available port on the Netgear router at the same time? (Maybe disable the wireless function on the MacBookPro temporarily as you try this?)(I almost want to suggest that you disable or remove the airport router completely and bring the printer to the Netgear as well. Instead of the airport, you can attach an unmanaged switch to the Netgear to give you more ports to attach other devices.) btw, your netgear is model CVG834G? When plugging an ethernet cable from my MyBookPro into my Netgear and from there into my MBP I could see my MyBookPro from the shared list in Finder. I could also see it from Bonjour. The MyBookLife icon appears in my toolbar and after selecting the dashboard it tells me “Network link is down: The network link is down or has become intermittent. Please check your network connection.” From the dashboard I can see my MyBookLive is set to DHCP and has a Mac Address and IP Address. When i disconnect the eithernet connection from my MBP I can now access the MBL dashboard - but it is still telling me “Network link is down”. It has been removed from shared and is no longer in Bonjour. I did however go to Finder > Go > Connect to Server and punched i the name of my drive and connected. Now it has come back on my shared folder and appears like I can drag files across into it. But it is not in Bonjour. When I restart my computer, it disappears. The reason I have my printer connected to my airport is because it is USB and my Netscape doesn’t have a USB drive. They are also too far apart from each other to connect regardless. But my understanding is that I’ve set up my Airport to connect to the network the netscape is generating. I unplugged my airport for this test. The model of my netscape is different to that which you suggested. Mine is a CBVG834G I have a very similiar set up. Quick review, internet is going from wall

On how the MyBookLive can get setup as well. Without knowing how you are configured, I am not sure what else to try. I get my internet from a cable in the wall - this goes to my netgear and from there wirelessly to my MacBookPro. My airport extream (which was my old router ages ago) was lieing around and concidering my printer isn’t wirelss, I thought I would connect up my printer to my Airport Extream and link it wirelessly into my network so I can now print wirelessly. This aside I think my setup should be relativly nomal. I didn’t set up my netgear, the people from the internet company did. Alas they speak French, and my French is not good enough to order dinner, let alone explaine complex situations about products that they simply don’t care if they work or not (they are frenh after all). If I can’t get any help here, I have just waisted €300 Thank you for the additional description. I think I know what may be the general issue. It is possible that somehow your MacBookPro is connected to one network, while the MyBookLive is residing on a different network. That could explain why the MacBookPro is not seeing it in Finder or Bonjour. The netgear router is generating one network, while the Airport Extreme is generating another one. Doing my best to help, but the difficult part is, I am not sure how they configured the Netgear. Normally, a basic home network should be setup with internet coming in through wall. Then that is tied into cable modem/Router (in this case your Netgear) . From there the router has both wireless access and available ethernet ports on the back to tie in other devices. These devices can then access the internet or work with each other (e.g. your printer and your laptop). So in essence, your Netgear should be the a main centeral hub and the only router that you would use.Just curious if we tried this or not. Did you try the following:1. Plug the MyBookLive into the Netgear router

I’d like to use a Netgear LB1120 mode (in bridge mode) to connect to my router via Ethernet (to the WAN port) with the Cricket SIM card from my hotspot. I installed the Cricket SIM into the LB1120 and was receiving 4 bars signal on the LED’s. When I connected the to the router directly with my laptop to put it in bridge mode I could not connect to the internet with my laptop. When I accessed the modems administrative interface it was showing a connection to the Cricket network (however 3G) and stating it was “disconnected”. I clicked the connect option, but no luck. I have an open help ticket with Cricket, they can see the device’s IMEI on their end and say it’s compatible. But no luck otherwise. I see on other threads on here that others are using the LB1120 on Crickets network as well. Any insight? My LB1120 has only one APN listing and that is Name: Cricket mhtAPN: mhtAuthentication: nonePDP: IPV4PDP Roaming: IPV4I have been running my LB1120 on Cricket Simply Data since April 2020 without problems. But I got the sim from a Cricket store and gave them my Netgears IMEI to register it. It may be that you need a new sim versus transferring the one from your hotspot. That was the ticket. I saw it had auto populated the AT&T APN when I inserted my cricket SIM so I thought that was correct since they use the AT&T network. In case it helps anyone else the following also works,Name: InternetAPN: ndo I found that online after I saw the reply here. Thanks for the help! The LB1120 on the Cricket simply data plan is operating as expected.
