Why does in_mp3.dll 4.4 sound different than in_mp3.dll 2.91? I think 4.4 sounds very filtered/worse? I've used the same output plugins for both.(DS, Asio, KS)Things like Equalizer, FL3EQ, Dither, 24bit, etc. are turned off for testing. 2. Why does in_mp3.dll 4.4 use more cpu power than in_mp3.dll 2.91? 3. How is the quality of the new Constant-Q EQ? Does it cut the high frequencies above 16kHz? Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 7 I've changed from Winamp 2.91 to Winamp lite 5.531. I've tested some things. Now I have a few questions.1. Why does in_mp3.dll 4.4 sound different than in_mp3.dll 2.91? I think 4.4 sounds very filtered/worse? I've used the same output plugins for both.(DS, Asio, KS)Things like Equalizer, FL3EQ, Dither, 24bit, etc. are turned off for testing. 2. Why does in_mp3.dll 4.4 use more cpu power than in_mp3.dll 2.91? 3. How is the quality of the new Constant-Q EQ? Does it cut the high frequencies above 16kHz?
