3900x mobo combo. But to pull that trigger will need some doing. My DDR3 memory is also useless. Eh you could try to reinstall windows, but hardware errors like that come from hardware reporting issues to the OS, and TBH other than viruses I've never heard of these things popping up randomly. Despite all the people that think they know better saying Windows is bad, its error reporting is very accurate, if hard to decipher. The main things that cause random hardware errors? Failing drives (you replaced it), failing memory (you replaced that too). I mean I'm sitting somewhere else in the world responding to you I don't want to insult your intelligence by telling you to test/replace the things that you've already done. There is no registry key, there is no magic check. If Windows is telling you your hardware is failing, and the antivirus software which is known to cure false errors of this type isn't finding it, logically at this point, the issue is true. As for what it is, since you're not seeing an immediate visible issue it may be in the drive controller or motherboard chipset. Like I said there is still a chance there is a failure in the CPU, but the possibility of that is really miniscule. If you want to see it crash I'd try running some heavy system benchmarks and drive benchmarks. I have no guarantees for you, it may not crash, and maybe the failure is minor and you can continue for a while.A 3900X is major overkill depending on your use, that said The performance difference is on another planet. But don't take my word for it you can buy an Intel 9900k as well and get similarly otherworldly performance, just in case you still think I'm on someones payroll. 😛 #14 Eh you could try to reinstall windows, but hardware errors like that come from hardware reporting issues to the OS, and TBH other than viruses I've never heard of these things popping up randomly. A lot of Windows 10 users have been reporting a weird issue where the right-click context menu is randomly popping up without any user action. The vast majority of affected users are reporting that this issue is occurring at random intervals with no apparent trigger. Although the issue is much more common on Windows 10, there are some user reports of the same problem occurring on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.Right-click menu randomly appearing on WindowsWhat’s causing the Random appearances of the right-click menu on Windows? We investigated this particular issue by looking at various user reports and testing out the different repair strategies that are commonly recommended by other affected users that have already managed to resolve the issue. As it turns out, several different scenarios will trigger this particular behavior. Here’s a shortlist of culprits that have the potential of causing this behavior:Corrupted / Incomplete driver – As it turns out, this particular issue can occur because the keyboard/mouse driver that is being used is not complete or is corrupted to the point where it ends up triggering some keys even if the user didn’t press that key physically. In situations like this one, the best course of action would be to run the built-in keyboard troubleshooter and fix the driver inconsistency automatically.Click-Lock is enabled – According to several different user reports, this issue can also appear due to a mouse feature called ClickLock. This feature can end up triggering random context menus whenever the user tries to drag something using the Click-Lock feature. In this case, you should be able to resolve the issue by disabling click lock altogether.Physical keyboard issue – A software issue is not the only possible culprit. In some cases, this particular behavior is caused by a stuck key that is producing the equivalent of a mouse right-click ( Shift + F10 or the Menu key can both produce this behavior). If this scenario is applicable, the only fix is to try and get the stuck key/s unstuck or to connect a different peripheral. If you’re also encountering this behavior and you’re looking for aRandom AMD window pop-up.? - Reddit

I was hearing some popping sounds as well after I installed the driver. For me the last real stable driver was 6.0.9556.1.The symptoms I have are the audio popping at random and when I get a notification on the desktop, I cannot hear the sound sometimes. Also if no sound is heard on the PC for a few minutes it seems like the audio gets muted for some reason and turns the volume back up when the algorithm notices that there is sound being played. Also playing a video on MPC makes the video delay lag like it is waiting for the audio to play along with the video. I second this so much. The software looks good, but you demonstrate it being used to create shite. Have to be in a pitch black space, which means that some areas you'll stumble through as you're trying to find where you're going. Hey look, it's a random relic room! Another visual issue that winds up popping up are the "treasures," if you can actually call them that. Instead of looking like a small bar of gold, a bauble or some other valuable item, treasure in the game looks like an odd, blocky polygon. At first glance, it will look like the game architecture is actually broken because it appears so out of place. It was only by accident that I realized what they were, which is truly disappointing because while I could go back and replay levels to try to collect them, I'd also have to deal with all of the gameplay and visual issues to search for some random block scattered around. While the sound is good, it's not really much of a saving grace. The dialogue is delivered well, and the soundtrack is still solid. However, a lot of audible clips of background music primarily occur around cutscenes that suddenly start playing, which feels rather sloppy.VerdictFull of bugs, linear play that discourages exploration and non-existent combat, Tomb Raider Underworld feels as though it's part of the series in name and main character only. While the story is still good, there's practically nothing here that even feels like a Tomb Raider game -- especially with Anniversary still fresh for the PS2. Underworld feels like an extremely substandard title that was released without any polish whatsoever. If you're a fan of Lara Croft, get Underworld on a current-gen system and skip the PS2 version.Help. Random window pops up and disappears within
After doing this 6 to 7hrs of testing, i believe this isnt normal behavior. It appears even at low speeds of UNDERclocking my CPU that nothing changes my temps at all. So unless this is normal, which i highly doubt it is, my CPU shouldnt be reaching those temps and especially when i have it running @ 2.90GHz, thats -.60GHz less then the speed straight out of the box. Also i have had a problem with a USB box popping up saying, "Windows doesnt reconize the USB device that was plugged, please replugg the USB device" or something along those lines. Now i was in talkings with my motherboard manufacture Gigabyte about this and we spent about 2 or 3 weeks troubleshooting this and couldnt find out what was causing this problem. I had upgraded my windows from 7 to 10, so the gigabyte support staff said maybe there is a problem with the install, so try reinstalling your OS again. So now i went back to windows 7 and have been using Windows 7 since the 18th of this month and i havent had any USB diaglog boxes popping up telling that my system doesnt reconize the last USB device, etc...As i was reading about more overheating issues on the forum about the 6th gen K-series, an intel staff member suggested to go use some utilities of yours to test a few things, so i went their and downloaded the "Intel Driver Update Utility Installer".
