#1 Drildgen Members 1 posts OFFLINE Local time:07:10 PM Posted 09 April 2010 - 10:03 AM I've been infected with the Antivirus Suite malware scam and I've been trying to remove it for hours now...I finally got rkill to start without closing instantly, but a new window was prompted after rkill executed;"Windows - No Disk" // There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive . // (Cancel) (Try Again) (Continue)When I click on "Cancel" or "Continue", it shuts down rkill instantly and "Try Again" just prompts the window again.I left that window up with rkill running behind it. But now, it's been over an hour and rkill is still telling me "Terminating known malware process." Is the No Disk window preventing rkill from working? Or does it usualy take such a long time for rkill to do it's job? Edited by Orange Blossom, 09 April 2010 - 10:34 AM. RKill (โปรแกรม RKill หยุดโปรเซส Malware)

RKill terminates and removes the most stubborn malware infections, but it's not for beginners or for any user who isn't sure what it does or why they need it. RKill kills processes that prevent anti-malware tools from running, removes bad Registry entries, and fixes policies that prevent some anti-malware tools from running. It then stops and restarts Explorer so Registry changes will take effect and finishes by logging it all. RKill is portable freeware that downloads as a zipped file.ProsPro-level power: RKill is capable of pulling the rug out from underneath malware by terminating processes that effectively shield them from cleaning with conventional utilities.Fast and thorough: RKill scanned quickly and reported our PC's clean and healthy status. We expected no less, but users who turn to RKill to remove stubborn malware usually do so after trying the usual programs first.Log: RKill's log file lists all terminated processes, including those terminated by the user. The data could help diagnose a deeply hidden infection.ConsNo GUI: RKill is easy to use but lacks a GUI since running from the Command Line prevents some malware from running, which will intimidate some users (though arguably such users should think twice before trying RKill).Bottom LineThough we lacked any deep-rooted malware for RKill to rub out, we're glad to know about this powerful portable freeware. We plan to keep it handy in our toolkit, just in case.More Stories

I have Eset AV installed and running, so are Malwarebytes Protection, Win Patrol. I do practise usually safe habits and safety precautions.Recently I began to use Dropbox, mBox. And it seems only after these when I routinely scan my laptop using Rogue Killer that I noticed many entries in the RKiller drivers tab.I did Eset scans, Malwarebyte scans, Rkill scans, ADW Cleaner scans all on my own but found nothing, except R Killer driver tabs contained many entries. Each time I deleted, but invariably all these returned after each and every internet session. Can some one kindly please help to take a look.Grateful and appreciate.Terence.
