Without a doubt, two of the most significant submachine guns (SMGs) of the Cold War era are the Israeli-made Uzi and the American-made M-10, more commonly known as the MAC-10. The iconic gangsta rapper Eazy E extolled the virtues of both weapons in his smash hit “Boyz-n-the-Hood.”Both guns are utterly despised by anti-gun politicians, especially the Uzi. Both SMGs make an appearance in the 1983 Al Pacino film Scarface. Both are open-bolt SMGs that have been chambered for the 9mm and .45 ACP cartridge alike (though the Uzi is far more common in the smaller of those two calibers). So then, what are the differences?Uzi History and Specifications The Uzi was invented in 1950 by then-Captain (later Major) Uziel “Uzi” Gal of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), the son of “a German WWI pilot with a love for arms;” the gun initially introduced into the IDF via their Special Forces units in 1954 and became general-issue two years later.Built of stamped sheet metal, the original version weighed 7.72 pounds, with a barrel length of 10.2 inches and an overall length of either 17.5 inches or 18.5 inches, depending on whether it was stockless or the folding stock edition. The standard magazine capacity is 32 rounds; the cyclic rate of fire is 600 rounds per minute (rpm), which means the entire mag can be expended in 3.2 seconds. The Uzi would go on to prove its worth in Israel’s wars, from the 1956 Suez Crisis to the Six-Day War to the 1973 Yom Kippur War.In addition, the military and police forces of roughly 80 other countries issued the Uzi at one time or another, including no less than the U.S. Secret Service. MAC 10 History and Specifications The “MAC” in “MAC-10” stands for Military Armament Corporation, the manufacturer founded by Gordon Ingram and Mitchell WerBell, though interestingly, the company literature and catalogs never actually used the MAC-10 label, even though just about everybody else does.Instead, the company officially termed it the “Ingram Model 10 submachine gun” – no, I don’t know why it wasn’t dubbed the “Ingram-WerBell” in honor of both co-inventors – and. In a sense, this is a great way to keep things during every major update. If we had the same guns every season, we’d all stick to a certain loadout and wouldn’t try to mix things up. With so many vaulted and unvaulted guns, it encourages us to find a new one, master it, and eliminate other party bus hoppers. Get in the game and thus, if you’re looking for that kind of weapon, the TMP is your gun.Like all SMGs, it will eat through your ammo, but it can be useful in close quarters against a bunch of enemies, especially if you upgrade its firepower a little. As is the nature with an SMG, don’t use this gun from range as the spread will waste the majority of your bullets. If you purchase its Exclusive upgrade, however, it is the most powerful of the two SMGs available on your first playthrough. The downside to the SMG is that there are usually better alternatives to using it (although this is a problem all SMGs share). It is also the least precise SMG out of the bunch. You can purchase the TMP in Chapter 3 from the Merchant using money.#3 - LE 5The LE 5 is an all-new gun created for Resident Evil 4 Remake, and it’s clear to see that it’s designed to fill a very specific niche. It comes later in the game, at Chapter 13, but its main feature, beyond being more accurate, is that it can equip the Biometric Sensor that you can also use on your rifles. This gives you another, faster, alternative to hitting those Parasites on the deadly Regenerators you encounter on the island. It’s also more powerful than the TMP outside of when you get the TMP’s Exclusive upgrade (which gives it a huge boost to firepower). The LE 5, instead, gains the same Penetration Exclusive upgrade as the Punisher, allowing you to pierce through up to five enemies. If you’re getting swarmed by enemies, busting this out up close can help you mow them all down. The downside to the LE 5 is that it comes far too late in the game to be of anyAll SMGs in fortnite - YouTube
You do your best to fight the urge to become the next Al Capone.Compact SMGRarities: Epic/LegendaryDamage Per Shot: 20/21Ammo Type: Light BulletsMagazine Capacity: 40Description: The Compact SMG is the thinking man’s submachine gun. High damage? Check. High magazine capacity? Check. Accuracy? Check. The Compact SMG does it all, and does it with style. Its fast fire rate couples nicely with its other attributes to create a perfect all around weapon for close to medium range firefights, and will make short work of any enemies in your way. They’re a rare find, though, so count yourself lucky if you happen to stumble across one. Oh, and make sure to grab it if you do: this is one addition to your arsenal that you can’t afford to pass up.Submachine Guns are the perfect backup weapons to have on hand, and will get you out of more than one sticky situation. They nicely round out any player’s arsenal, bridging the gap between slower firing long-range weapons and the close-range applications of shotguns. If you find yourself more suited to a spray-and-pray approach, SMGs will quickly become your new best friends.More about Fortnite: Battle Royale Alex LaFreniereAlex's first experience with video games came at the tender young age of 12, when his parents gave him and his brothers a PlayStation 2 for Christmas. There are three SMGs for you to look over before deciding what to go for.The TMP is the first SMG you can get in Resident Evil 4 Remake.#1 - Chicago SweeperMuch like when you’re thinking about the Best Magnum, you have to take into consideration the post-game unlockable weapons, and the same is true of the SMGs. Seeing a slight rework from the Chicago Typewriter from the original Resident Evil 4, the Chicago Sweeper is still the best SMG in Resident Evil 4 Remake, even if it has been downgraded a little.Gone are the laser and the high firepower of the Chicago Typewriter, the Sweeper functions very much like the other SMGs in terms of firepower and accuracy. It features the highest firepower of all the SMGs in the remake however, and if you purchase the Exclusive upgrade, you’ll be getting yourself Infinite Ammo, elevating one of the main weaknesses of automatic weapons. The downside to the Chicago Sweeper is that it’s difficult to unlock, and thus, not available on a first playthrough, and it also takes up a monstrous amount of space in your inventory. You can obtain the Chicago Sweeper by completing Professional Mode (unlocked by beating the game once) with an A+ Rank.#2 - TMPThere’s not much to choose between the other two SMGs in Resident Evil 4 Remake (one of them new to this remake), and as such, it’s down to looking for which one’s niche fits your playstyle more.
