Vz access manager downloads

We no longer support Internet Explorer v10 and older, or you have compatibility view enabled. Disable Compatibility view, upgrade to a newer version, or use a different browser. Hi,I just got a BlackBerry 9330 Curve and downloaded the correct VZAccess Manager software for Windows 7. When I try to tether the phone as a modem, Access Manager identifies it as a BlackBerry 8530 instead of a 9330 and won't connect to it. I never had this problem with the previous version of Access Manager when using my old 8330 Curve.Anyone else having this problem? I have tethered with USB and Bluetooth connection using VZAccess Manager for several years using my Pearl 8130 and I just switch to the Tour and the tethering no longer works. VZAccess Manager hangs up when connecting to the phone with "Initializing..." displayed and the phone gets the "Modem mode" message but it does not connect to the Internet and I eventually have to kill VZAccess Manager because it never gets an error message but just keeps hanging on the initializing message. Anything any one could think of that I must do separately for the Tour? I pared it via Bluetooth successfully and also used a USB for direct connection to my XP workstation. I am having the same issue with my new blackberry tour 9630. VZ access manager detects it and connects for about 30 seconds then disconnects. Does anyone have the fix for this?
