Hi, I have a Intel NUC D54250WYK. Two years ago I added an Intel Wireless-N 7260 with bluetooth card to the machine. It was running Windows 8.1 at the time. I installed the relevant drivers and both WiFi and Bluetooth parts worked fine. This week I did a fresh install of Windows 10 (an upgrade wasn't working for some reason). Out of the box the WiFi was working but Windows couldn't see the Bluetooth device. Device Manager was showing an Unknown USB Device (device Descriptor Request Failed),so I was assuming this pointed to a driver problem? The Wifi card was using a Microsoft driver. I downloaded bt_21.10.1_64 from Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® for Intel® Wireless 7260 Family and Intel® Dual-Band Wireless-AC 3160 and installed it. It made no difference. I then tried older drivers I had from before but again it made no difference. (Although the wifi card started using intel drivers). I found this thread Solved: Intel® Wireless-AC 7260 bluetooth failed - Intel Communities and followed the steps. I could only find one driver the bt_21.10.1_64 - the onedrive link in the thread didn't work. I don't know if that has the Wifi and/or the bluetooth driver. I can see the wifi card is still using a Microsoft driver and there is an unrecognized USB device in device manager and no bluetooth. It's like the drivers are not correct. Am I installing the correct drivers? Are there others I should use? I did try some random dell ones I found for the same card but it didn't solve the bluetooth issue. As it was working find under Windows 8.1 I don't believe its an install problem? Any help would be appreciated. The keyboard I use for my NUC is bluetooth so I'm a bit stuck

Firstly, are you sure that you have a 'Qualcom Atheros AR5B22' in your Acer Aspire V3-371 and its a Bluetooth/WiFi combined device? As the Acer Aspire V3-371 comes with an 'Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 (a/b/g/h/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.0' because that should not be happening! The Bluetooth/WiFi device that I have changed into my 'Acer Aspire 5750/2414' is the 'Qualcom Atheros AR9462-AR5B22 WLAN 2.4G & 5G + Bluetooth 4.0 Mini PCIe Card' (see attached pic) as my laptop came standard with a 'Qualcom Atheros WiFi 2.4G' only and no Bluetooth.Ok, to check all this and make sure, do the following steppes:1. To check and make certain that your Bluetooth works or you have got a 'Bluetooth' go to 'Device Manager' and see Bluetooth (if its not shown, then do step 3 & 4, if it still does not show 'Bluetooth' in your 'Device Manager' then you don't have a WiFi/Bluetooth combined card or its not working.2. Uninstall the Bluetooth driver first (from Device Manager) by right clicking on the Bluetooth>Bluetooth USB Module then 'Uninstall device'.3. Use this workaround method, which is much easier and should work: download the Bluetooth Win-8.1 v8.0.1.314 from this link, make sure that you use the 'Download driver AR9462/8.0.1.314' the lime green download link from that site: Then unzip it, and click the install.ini file, within this folder (the Win-8.1 v8.0.1.314) which installs the driver automatically, its much easier to install, as it will also install and execute a folder in your ‘Task Bar’ called 'Bluetooth Devices'. It was enough to bring back the wifi adapter to the device manager listing and it is now working again. I expect that some MS Windows 10 update that was necessary was not restored to the same point, but it seems to not have caused any major problems yet. Possible there IS a solution for you and not me? I'd be surprised if there was.From my perspective, first either the Intel removal of the driver (note that my old AX1650i data is still in my registry) does not delete entries in the registry. Also, There is a 'chicken and egg' sort of deal here. Who does what to who and who uses what. By that I mean MS seems to be off in Device Manager, but not in the Settings. Device Manager thinks I'm using #2, but in Settings I can see it is the ORIGINAL that is Enabled and Active... So where would Device Manager got that WiFi device info, from the Registry I'd think? I just have a feeling based on the TIMESTAMP of the devices on-time, that they are daisy chained, and each on takes time to connect after the one before it? If I had the 'guts', I'd edit the Registry to remove the unused networks... however I'm not sure how anything is linked. Do not TRUST CCLeaner to did it right either.If I had the MS Device Manager code or DSA's as well as the driver install code I could possibly figure it out, but surely a support engineer IF they understood the problem AND cared, could also.With all the push back, I'm left with 3 choices:Ignore DSA and manually check occasionally for new BE200 drivers.Take out the card and return it and wait for ANOTHER vendor to produce WiFi 7 card, either M.2 or PCIe types.Return the BE200 and get the 'new' updated WiFi 7 replacement, BE1750x, which happens to also be a Killer card and work with that s/w which Dell did install on my PC.
