First of all I'm new to the forum so I'd just like to say a big THANK YOU to the devs for your great work on ZSNES! I've used your emulator for many years and I absolutely love it! I know the GUI isn't to everyone's tastes, but I think it's really charming and really emphasises the fun of playing SNES games. I especially love that snow effect, which I always turn on over my Christmas holidays! Anyway, down to business...Bug reportThis is quite a simple bug, but I'm amazed no one has reported this before now as it renders ZSNES unusable...Since version 1.40, ZSNES has automatically started up in a window with 16 bit depth colour. On my computer, my desktop is set to 32 bit depth colour and ZSNES doesn't appear at all — just a black square. Most people in this situation would have no way of knowing why it wasn't working and I only figured it out by trial and error (I switched my desktop to 16 bit depth colour and it worked fine).I would strongly suggest that you set it to start up in 32 bit colour mode, otherwise people with a setup like mine will be binning your emulator before they've even had the chance to see the GUI!My specs: I'm running Windows XP Pro; ATI All in Wonder 128 graphics card; Dell 2405FPW LCD monitor.Suggested features...Also, I have a few features to suggest for the video config section. If anything here has already been requested/discussed please accept my apologies and ignore it.Scaline settingsFirst, I always find 25% scanlines too faint, and 50% scanlines too strong. Would it be possible to allow a custom percentage, or offer intermediate setting(s)?Horizontal interpolationAnother thing I'd love is horizontally interpolated scaling. I began playing Super Mario RPG a few weeks ago and noticed it was a little glitchy. Then I came across this post: figured out why. Now I'm trying to find out if there's a way to transfer my saved game (in game) to a previous version of ZSNES (the post recommends v 1.42) or to another emulator. I was going to try to save an SRM file but couldn't figure out how to do so on ZSNES 1.51. I checked "SRAM Check+Save" in the "Saves" menu under "Configure" and set a file path in the "Paths" menu. This, however, did not create to .srm file in the specified location. I also searched the forum for a fix but couldn't find anything. I suspect there's something simple that I'm overlooking. In any case, I would appreciate any assistance with information on either (a.) a method to get the .srm file or (b.) transfer my saved gave. Thanks in advance!!**EDIT**A little more information:I'm using Windows 7 64-bitI tried installing ZSNES 1.42 and loading the .smc file, but my saved game was gone. When I loaded the same file from ZSNES 1.51, the saved game was there.
